The G7 Global Governance Project named Canada (89%), the UK (85%), and the U.S. (79%) as the highest countries in compliance with G7 gender equality goals, an assessment based on 36 core commitments, such as women’s health, economic participation, and preventing violence against women. The countries in lowest compliance were Japan (70%) and Italy (54%).
