May 10 was Mother’s Day in the US, so Women in Print Alliance is taking a moment to honor all of the women in print across the globe who mother someone or something in some way. You amaze us! To celebrate, we’re back with our annual Mother’s Day gift to all of you.
This year we’re focusing on AI tools that aim to save you time and energy. While the AI tools highlighted were designed by parents for parents, we think you’ll find them adaptable to your lifestyle – even if you don’t have small humans living in your home. Pet parents, adult caregivers, and anyone with a bit of extra responsibility outside of work may find these resources helpful.
The top three AI tools were selected – and tested – by Peacock Parent, which graciously went down the AI rabbit hole of circular prompts and just plain bad advice on your behalf to curate the cream of the crop tools.
According to Parent Peacock, unlike general purpose AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude), caregiver-specific AI tools “can help parents organize schedules, reduce decision fatigue, keep track of family logistics, research options faster, and offload repetitive admin tasks.” Also critical says Parent Peacock, “the most useful tools save time without creating another system for parents to manage.”
You can view the list here. And bonus – there’s an audio version too!
In addition to a breakdown of use cases and costs for each tool, Peacock Parent addresses important factors like privacy and ROI. On the latter, Peacock Parent takes the view that money spent on AI tools should “help you think more clearly, spend less time researching, and stay ahead instead of constantly catching up. If a tool saves even a few hours each month, it can quickly pay for itself.”
Because your time is worth it – and so are you.
