Attending a major industry conference or expo can be intimidating as a first timer – or even as a long-time pro who’s still getting back into the in-person event game after a long virtual break post-pandemic.

That’s especially true for a show as MASSIVE as PRINTING United Expo, which is just around the corner. (Expo is taking place September 10-12 in Las Vegas, NV; you can learn more and register to attend here.) And it’s why Women in Print Alliance recently hosted a FREE webinar featuring three women in print leaders discussing their own personal Expo experiences and answering audience questions.

Courtesy of Linda Flavin, Becky McConnell, and Nicole Pape – and our own Women in Print Alliance Director, Lisbeth Lyons Black, who moderated the discussion – you’ll hear candid talk about everything from trade show floor logistics, networking, vendor relations to self-care, and other important topics to help you plan and execute a successful, rewarding Expo experience.

Our speakers even dug deep into that awkward topic of “inherent bias,” which many women face at work meetings, business conferences, or large-scale trade shows in industries (like print) with a disproportionate number of women in the workplace. They also emphasized the importance of creating community with fellow women in print at Expo and other industry events.

The webinar is available now on demand. It’s applicable to printing industry events even beyond Expo, so be sure to add it to your online professional development library.
