As part of our commitment to championing women who share their business expertise through high-profile speaking engagements, Women in Print Alliance would like to recognize Lisa Cross, Principal Analyst, Alliance/NAPCO Research, on her recent presentation at the Inkjet Summit in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

On the second day of the Summit, Cross detailed benefits and key takeaways from the most recent Alliance/NAPCO research study: Next Generation Inkjet Investment on how evolving customer demands, shifting application trends, and reinvestment strategies are driving the next phase of inkjet adoption.

Here are three key takeaways survey respondents reported are influencing print providers to make their first or next production inkjet purchase:

1. Inkjet unlocks tangible business gains. Survey respondents noted several benefits from adopting production inkjet, including improved profitability, new business, and increased personalization capabilities.

2. Inkjet is proving to be a smart investment. According to survey respondents, the top motivations behind production inkjet investment include lower costs, migration of offset work, lower cost of ownership compared to toner devices, increased productivity, and output quality comparable to offset.

3. Customers are actively choosing inkjet. The report also highlighted customers are drawn to inkjet for its quick turnaround times, personalization capabilities—a key driver of engagement, and high-quality color output.
