The Women in Print Alliance annual Book Chat is back for its second year – and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to Mita Mallick, author of our selected title: The Devil Emails at Midnight – What Good Leaders Can Learn from Bad Bosses.
Mita Mallick is a change maker with a track record of transforming culture and business. She gives innovative, culturally-resonant ideas a voice and serves communities, such as Women in Print Alliance, with purpose.
She’s had an extensive career as a multicultural marketer in the beauty and consumer goods space, being a fierce advocate for including and representing Black and Brown communities. Her first book, Reimagine Inclusion: Debunking 13 Myths to Transform Your Workspace was a Wall Street Journal and USA Today best seller.
Mita is an effective voice for the business imperative of inclusion and diversity in the face of recent DEI backlash, speaking as a guest on several podcasts. She’s also been outspoken on the critical need for positive organizational cultures, writing thought-provoking pieces in publications like Fast Company and Harvard Business Review.
She is active on LinkedIn, often posting video content on topical conversations, like what “shrinking” at work looks like – why we do it and why it’s a tell-tale sign of an unhealthy work environment. (Give her a follow!)
What we love most about Mita is that she makes the business case for growth-minded, inclusive workplaces with warmth, humor and personality. She’s exactly the kind of author women in print will relate to – and we can’t wait to connect her with our community at the upcoming Women in Print Alliance Book Chat on June 11.
